The Second Life of Nick Mason by Steve Hamilton

1.0

Saw this one the new books shelf at the library, I'd never heard of the author so I figured I'd give it a try. Mistake.

The characters are cardboard, the plot is paint by numbers.

Worse, it's just dumb. Basic thief is in prison for not telling cops which friend killed someone in a robbery gone bad. Crime boss in prison, living as if he's in Medellin, not Illinois, springs the guy to do what the criminal wants. Suddenly the "hero" is a tough guy with a perfect shot.

Avoid this.
