A friend of mine read a different book by this author and loved it. I needed a new book to listen to on my walk and found this one by her was available form the library audio selection. This is a charming and wonderful tale. And the audio version is exceptionally well narrated by Bronson Pinchot! Great voices! I know I would have loved this had it been around when I was in middle school but even as an adult I enjoyed the story. Who doesn't like the idea of a magical circus with all it's wonders. And there is nothing wrong with wanting to believe in magic all your life, it isn't just for the young.
