This is a serial killer x FBI agent dark romance & not what I was expecting at all! I listened to the audiobook in one day & was fully invested in the story. We meet an FBI agent & a serial killer who have a meet cute & begin dating, not knowing that they are on the “same side,” of hunting down rapists and murderers, except our FMC Lana is a bit of a vigilante focused on vengeance, and kills them. 

FBI agent Logan kills them too sometimes on the clock, but society frames their (armed forces) kills as something different (though, they are pretty much the same, which Lana notes in her inner dialogue too). 

There are no graphic rape scenes but the past rape and sexual assaults are recounted and shared with the rapists to remind them of the history and why they are being targeted for murder before they die. I will continue the series (I was recommended this for my #12Friends12Books challenge).
