Feminism for the 99%: A Manifesto by Nancy Fraser, Tithi Bhattacharya, Cinzia Arruzza
2.0
I understand that this is critique of capitalism designed for a layperson. Great. But, was Marx’s Manifesto not also a critique of capitalism designed for a layperson? And when governments have tried to add communism to their own politically driven agendas, it doesn’t usually work out well. I know this review sounds angry; and I guess in a way it is. I want a critique that ends with a suggestion FOR a society that is not Utopia. I want a suggestion that is for working class Americans who have not been primed by higher education and deep understanding of capitalist fallacies.
