Not worth the year+ wait.
I love the Gamble brothers, but this wasn't the best in the series. This was a quick read, that served as a satisfactory distraction. It had smoking hot sex scenes, and it was cool to catch up with the surrounding characters, but overall the plot was predictable. I was really excited for this release, because I felt like with the back story of these characters, and the tense buildup, it could've been amazing. But it wasn't... It was just okay. I'd recommend it for those just looking to fill the boredom, who just want a simple distraction. For $0.99, I'd say it's comparable to two McD's apple pies, so it wasn't a waste of money.
