 Deanna Raybourn writes the perfect book. The mystery plot in this one was especially good as was the tension between Stoker and Veronica. I liked seeing more of Tiberius's character fleshed out. Veronica is my favorite Victorian female character because she is more independent and modern than many women in 2019 are able to be. I am sad that I have to wait for another book. I hope I don't have to wait too long.
