Difficult Women: A History of Feminism in 11 Fights by Helen Lewis

A bit hit and miss. Some interesting bits but some bits where there was much more laziness in comments about trans people and definite absence of the term cis women which she ends the book wishing this phrase existed.

I feel like a section on contraception and effects of hormones on women's health (cis and trans) would fit well but instead there was the weird idea that even a woman who has had puberty blockers and then female hormones for years would be biologically male. See Sex Matters by Alyson McGregor for a better explanation of how to talk about biology in a more inclusive but definitely feminist point of view.

Overall added knowledge about some bits of history but I'm not sure I'll recommend it over other things I have read about notable women.
