This was a real page turner. With short chapters and a decent story. I think it was a little predictable but overall an easy read.
The writing in this is great. I really did feel for Blythe and cared about where the story was going.
I liked how this book dealt with the passage of time. We see the family go through around 15 years and it is done well.
As a childfree person the writing resonated with me slightly differently to others. It explored how you and your relationships change when becoming a parent, which is one of the many reasons I have made the choices I have.
Overall it is a 3.5 for me. It was a good book that I enjoyed but it will be forgettable and just doesn’t sit there in the favourites for me.
