I went into this book with no expectations having recently read Circe. It’s a lovely and tragic transformation of the Iliad into a gorgeous romantic drama, following Pactroclus’ POV as his childhood friend-turned-lover becomes wrapped up in the machinations of the gods.

Moderate: Homophobia, Sexual content
Minor: Sexual violence
