This series is kind of hard to rate.
I love the art, I like the chemistry between Bruce and Clark... but the plot isn't my favorite. It feels like your annual gimmick where they manufacture a reason to do the really, really tiring "Who would win if Superman/Batman fought X member of the Justice League". I don't know why people still find these bouts entertaining, to be honest.
I would rather have a complex plot that really weighed on Bruce and Clark's conscious. Instead, there's more of this Batman Who Laughs infected their friends. I've lost count of how many times I've read a story where they had to fight their friends for one reason or another.
Anyway, the art's gorgeous and there is some good insight into Bruce and Clark's relationship. Unfortunately, nowhere near as much as we got in the Jeph Loeb series from a while back.
