Unlike other long anticipated releases this year, The Ballad Of Songbird and Snake really lived up to my expectations! While this story is set in the Panem we know, it is a really fresh story. President Snow is a complex character with a hard background, the games used to look way different, and somehow I felt like I was reading a historical fiction. Unlike the other Hunger Games, this is a LONG book and took quite a while to get through. For fans of the Hunger Games and even those who have not read it, this is a fresh dystopian worth a read!
