My review will be somewhat short because I am truly at a loss for words at how good this book is. This was the first book that had me throwing my phone and screaming at the void in the middle of the night. Ali Hazelwood is such an exceptional author, and if you told me this was her debut novel, I wouldn't've believed you. My brain is still going haywire from reading this book (although there were some questionable writing in chapter 16-17 that I will not delve into for fear of lowering this down to a honestly undeserved 4-stars), and booktok has regained my trust. First 5-star of 2022, this was truly worth the read. <3
