Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.

I was expecting to like this book. It's steampunk, it's gay, it sounded awesome, and then it fell flat. Even when exciting things happened, it never felt that exciting and the almost 200 pages I read felt monotone. I never fell in love with the main character nor his love interest and to be honest, the romantic part of the story went a little fast for my liking, enough so that it felt forced. 

I will say that the writing itself is great and I think the concept is amazing, but the execution lacked and I have too many books to read to spend time on one that isn't giving me anything.
