When I picked up the audio book, I did not realize was in verse. I do not read poetry and find it boring. However, this retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale has me hooked.
The story explores themes of family, acceptance, sacrifice, identity crisis amongst others - things we experience in our daily lives. It is a fresh take on a classic tale. I loved the way it was presented.
