When I signed up for an ARC of this book, I didn’t know who Cali Melle was, but I was immediately drawn to several elements of this book. Its cover, of course, but also the fact that its two main characters are figure skaters, and while I’ve read a lot of romances with hockey players, I don’t think I’ve ever read one with figure skaters. So, when I saw that this book was also an enemies-to-lovers book, I didn’t hesitate, I wanted to read no matter if it was as an ARC or when it would come out, and OMG I wasn’t disappointed for a moment 😍

I had butterflies in my stomach the whole time I was reading it. I had a feeling from the prologue that this would be one of my favourite books of 2024. To be honest, I would have devoured it from cover to cover in one sitting if I hadn’t had to give in to this thing called sleep. And if I hadn’t had to work the next day.

The enemy-to-lover trope is written just the way I like it. The chemistry between Leo and Aria is undeniable. The tension between them is both electric and magnetic. These are two characters that I have absolutely fallen in love with and to be honest, I’m a little sad to have to leave them now that I’ve finished the book.

I cannot recommend Tell Me How You Hate Me highly enough and I will definitely be reading more of Cali Melle’s books from now on.

Many thanks to Cali Melle and Valentine PR for giving me the chance to read an ARC of this book.
