I liked the first book better this one was definitely a heavier story line and a little hard to read. I still love the characters and I love seeing how they all are continuously developing. Scythe is definitely a favorite even if he’s insane and makes me want to throw a fit every other chapter. Nash is finally moving on and letting some good back into his life which I’m really excited about. War is entering a terribly hard time in his life with little support and the secrets that are falling through the cracks around him aren’t helping. As always Bliss is making choices too ambitious but still pulling them off, until she isn’t… I liked the intricacies of this one much more than the previous one. I can’t wait to see where that cliff hanger takes the book.
