Tracker's End, Volume 3 by Chantal Fernando
3.0

This book started out great and then crashed and burned during the last two hours. Great characters and the building sexual tension between Tracker and Lana kept me engaged and eager to keep listening to find out what was going to happen next.

Everything was going well until Tracker started acting out of character during the last quarter of the book. His actions during the last 25 percent of the book do not match up with the character we met in the first 75 percent of the book. It felt like the author decided she needed drama to make the story more interesting so she spun a wheel and threw in whatever monkey wrench the wheel landed on.

This is the second book I've listened to in a row from this author that included a specific plot element I, personally, do not enjoy in romance novels. Just like the previous book, I do not understand the author's decisions regarding the hero's actions during the last part of the book.
