The whiplash from Isla’s thoughts over Oro and Grim are just downright annoying. The plot holes and disjointed writing made it hard to read. I fear that the main plot got lost in this one. The best part of this book were the Grim and Isla scenes. His lines are the absolute best, but with that being said I am not sure I will read the next book.
