Fathomfolk by Eliza Chan

Did not finish book. Stopped at 72%.

I hit a pretty climatic point and still didn’t care very much. 

I liked the first half as it built the world, the character stories, and had this social justice theme of oppressing the Fathomfolk but it seemed to have stalled out at that. 

There wasn’t any character development and didn’t feel like it was going anywhere
