Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

To me, the blurb is the most interesting part of the book. Anyone I talk to about the book I’m reading seem really intrigued when I say, “2 young girls are found dead in a small town and, get this, with their teeth removed!” But I found the ending to be unbelievable and, frankly, ridiculous.

SpoilerIt really frustrates me when the big reveal is actually a child that ends up being the serial killer. It’s always a shocking twist! at the last 5 or so pages with no answers to questions like “How has no one caught this child for so long?” Are they really such a genius that they left no trace at all?
