Gateway Catastrophe by Louisa Masters

slow-paced

2.0

This book had potential but honestly it was just disappointing. This author has a habit of fading to black and magically wrapping everything up and then instead of showing us make the characters tell us. The relationship are super lacking and are always straight to love but have no substance. In theory she should have great books, the ideas are there but the execution is terrible. This series and two other books equal 6 and I think that’s enough to gage my opinion on if she’s an author I could enjoy and in the end she does not make the cut, which honestly sucks because I wanted to love her and read more on Ian and Marc but if we are following the trend nothing will happen through the whole book, unnecessary details of mundane things, lacking actual details in things that matter, whispers of a plot behind the boring romance, instant love, vague wrap up and then mediocre ending. That essentially makes up the ingredients of a Louisa Masters book.
