If you are picking this up because you think it will be a sweet summer romance, you are in for a treat. This book had romance with the MC and another male character. However, this story is about a different kind of love. A love between sisters and how broken trust tests the bond of sisterly love.
I enjoyed watching our MC Maddie grow as she forged her future forward in pure stubbornness and strength. I loved watching her older sister Ava do what older sisters do best and think they know what is best for little sister.
Can these two sisters find their sisterly love again 15 years later of surviving a horrific life event together? Can they find home together again?
