The downside of the omnibus is I can’t rate the books separately. I don't know if each individual book is a five-star read, but I think the series so far is...if that makes sense! I love it. Imagine Firefly, but pretty much every character is a nerd. I think the omnibus is a good way to read the books, as these stories lead into each other pretty directly.
Shockwave: So much fun! I wasn’t sure about the characters at first, but I soon got attached.
Ship's Ruin: I loved that we got more insight into Kim, the autistic-coded character. As the story unravelled I continued to feel immersed in the world. My favourite of the three.
Hero Code: Much is revealed in this one! I love all these characters and would die for them (even Asgar, although I disliked him at first).
Moderate: Violence, Xenophobia, Vomit, and Kidnapping
Minor: Sexual assault, Slavery, and War
