King of Sloth by Ana Huang

5.0

i wasn’t expecting to love this book the way i loved it like i usually don’t like reverse grumpy sunshine but sloane was really that girl like i loved it. her and xavier were so cute and they went together so well.

he was definitely “the king of sloth” he didn’t want to do anything and only started when his dad died and in his will it said that he wouldn’t get his inheritance if he didn’t become the ceo of a company. then he really went to work and was trying to get sloane at the same time.

their traumas were just so sad like sloane being excommunicated from her family because she didn’t stand for her bf sleeping with her sister, and then she had to sneak around and see her little sister, penelope; and xavier’s dad blamed him for why his mother died and he carried that guilt around for the rest of his life up until this book.

overall this was such a good book, the scene near the end when he told her to meet at the empire state building at midnight (very gossip girl) and they got together!!!!! loved this book so much and there was a very minimal third act breakup!!
