4✨ This was an adorable romance with the “who will she choose” vibes. Dr. Jo is in love with her best friend but he has always only sees her as a friend. When she professes her love to him and he doesn’t respond in kind she decides to give up and see who else is out there. Enter the sweet author, Malcom. 

This book has a bit of spice, a sweet romance and some Black joy. This is a great, relaxing beach read. The narrators were great. Y’all know I’m a sucker for Jacobi Diem!
