I really enjoyed the first book of the series and I was excited for this one to come out, but it fell flat for me. I didn't feel the chemistry between the couple, we were just told over and over that it was there. I found both characters very flip floppy and kind of annoying. The story wasn't as immersive as I would have liked, and this is likely a book I'll put down and completely forget about.
