☞ | MOTIVATION FOR READING
With the announcement that a Doctor Strange / Scarlett Witch movie was in the works (controversial to mention under a DC graphic novel, I know ) I was in the mood for something dark. Something...zombieish. This filled that urge.
☞ | QUICK THOUGHTS
I love reading mini series or spin offs that don't have a proper effect on canon. The author's aren't as restrained. They take more risks and allow for experimentation. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. This time it did. The stakes felt very, very real while I was reading it and it was comforting to know that [literally any of the characters that died] were technically still alive and kicking where the rest of society was concerned.

full of classic characters without being overkill
full of death without feeling meaningless
full of despair without ....
