Although I enjoyed the first book, I felt that this one didn’t really have as much of an impact. For a start, did Paige really have to get kidnapped again? I felt it was a little predictable, if tedious, but I did enjoy the ending which built up. I also liked how we got to see things from Raffe’s and Pooky Bear’s point of view, not to mention that name! It was interesting to see another layer to angelic society also, with the elections and politics of it all.
