I liked this one a little bit more than book one. It’s a step brother romance, with a separate plot line about the mother smothering the step son and belittling her own son. I liked that side plot and the character development it bought to the story, but it felt a bit stunted and over the top at times. The smutty scene and tension was great though. I said romance before, but this is more just a short steamy book about a sexual interaction, rather than a romantic story, so go in with that in mind.
