I absolutely love the artwork of this manga. It suits the darker tone of the story because it not only is darker in the way it looks but there is much thicker line  weight and sharper lines in comparison to art from the canon manga time-line.

I also like Aktugawa more in this manga than in the canon manga. I also love how this manga adds more depth to Atsushi and Aktugawa as characters.

I also really like that this manga adds more depth to Aktugawa's relationship to Gin and we see how he cares about her. This is also probably going to be expanded on more as the manga progresses and I'm excited to see where it goes.

I'm really interested in Dazai as the port mafia boss in this universe. I'm really curious as to how exactly he ended up becoming the mafia boss I know he had to have killed Mori which I'm sooo happy about but I want to know the details of how it happened.

Also there are funny moments like when Kunikida is just yelling at Oda for being like 3 hours late even though he is the one that found Aktugawa. It was so funny because I didn't expect that to be their dynamic like similar to his and Dazai's dynamic but different.

And also Atsushi being The White Reaper of the Port Mafia is so insanely cool. I absolutely love this manga and can't wait to buy and read all the other 3 volumes.
