Kill For Me Kill For You by Steve Cavanagh
4.75
mysterious tense medium-paced

4.75⭐️

The story is told on alternating chapters by two women Amanda and Ruth, with some from the detective’s perspective. Both have a reason for wanting someone ki11ed. Then two women meet and here’s our story.

We get to know each of their back stories are can understand what drives them, they really got my empathy as they have been unable to get justice. I was totally behind what they were wanting to do. The short snappy chapters ending in mini cliffhangers and the twists and turns, I had no idea where this book was going. It’s very different to the basic kill for me kill for you trope. It was a delightful surprise. I was totally riveted throughout.

The only reason it’s not a 5⭐️ is that I don’t know how I feel about one aspect of the ending. But I loved it, and highly recommend it. I would normally chose audiobook over reading, but I wasn’t keen of the narrator from the sample. It took me a while to manage to finish it which disrupts the flow. I was frustrated cos I desperately wanted to continue reading but my eyes couldn’t cope with it.
