Overall I’d give this 4.5 ⭐️
While parts of the book seemed a little “expected” (if you will), the overall storyline was emotional in parts and gripping in others. Since circumstances that bring these two women together are thorough no fault of their own, it does give the reader pause to consider how one might personally respond in either of the women’s positions.
I listened via audiobook, and the version/reader was great as well.
