The Dogs
by Allan Stratton
Being on the run with your mother for years, running from your father(or your mother's crazy imagination) is pretty traumatizing. But Cameron knows better not to think he's a lunatic when he hears and sees things. Soon he discovers secrets he couldn't even dream of...
I loved reading this. It was fast-paced, hard to put down, thw characters bring feelings out of you... not neccessarily good feelings. Cameron was pretty childish, and so nerve-wreckinh at some parts. And there were some things that stayed unclarified for me even after I was done reading (like Cameron, who at first hates this guy her mom meets, and then magically he gets to like him). I didn't like this perfect happy ending either, I think it was unbelievable, that after so many conflicts, things just turn right so fast.
But all-in-all I liked it and I would definitely recommend it.
