I really liked this, a very solid YA contemporary. I was conflicted on a rating through this, thinking it was definitely going to be a 3.5 star. However by the time I finished I really had to consider how much I'd genuinely felt for these characters. Particularity, without sounding like a whiny teenage girl, I felt like Sydney's Mum was so incredibly unfair, and I genuinely had a pit in my stomach at how Sydney was being treated. Very solid writing. I read this in one sitting.
