I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t love this book. It was an interesting concept and was executed well it was just meh.
Travis Hollis has been stabbed to death in his home on a US Army Base. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that his wife, Luz is responsible. But why did she do it? Was it an act of self defense or is she just a cold blooded killer?
Abby is a well respected lawyer who is determined to win at all costs. When she is assigned Luz’s case, she connects with her as Abby is a new mother herself. However when evidence starts to stack up against Luz, Abby realizes this may not be as easy as she had hoped.
Will Luz be proven innocent or will she spend the rest of her life in prison?
