Shadow Days by Andrea Cremer
2.0
It was okay, I think I liked this book even more when I finished then when I started because I started to play the Wicked soundtrack in the background. (I read to music) Some of the songs that played to curtain parts of the book actually fit. But what I didn't like of this book was all the random name dropping. Really? Who are these people and why does it matter that I know one of his friends online is named Melissa or Kelly? I also felt that this book was focused mainly about Shay and his Facebook life.
It started out strong but I felt it ended on the week side of things. I know this books leads up to the first book where Shay and the hereon meet but it could still have a stronger ending.
Read the first three before you read this short book. There are some more name dropping that you will get if you read the other 3 books other wise you would be like what the heck are these names?

What I wanted to know half way through was what happened to his friends from the last place he missed so much?Spoiler
But all the random name drop were people who are on Facebook. At times, I think it is cool to name drop from older books but I am not a fan of name dropping to popular books of the now modern times. I feel like it is pandering to the world. It started out strong but I felt it ended on the week side of things.
