I listened to this on audio, and very much enjoyed the southern accents of characters :) I was looking more for the magical realism to start cozy fall reading season, and was disappointed to not find more of that. It was still a great story of small southern town charm, romance, family history, growth, redemption, and love though. Think a bit of Gilmore Girls and Virgin River with magical pie from a small town cafe where everyone knows your name :)
