The Last Jedi by Jason Fry

If you expect this novelisations to expand on what is shown in the movie, this novel completely fails to do that. Still, it bridged the gap between watching the movie in the cinema and getting to watch it at home on Netflix.

It also allows you to highlight phrases and take screen captures of them to fight with other fans on the internet about the viability of your crack pairing, and really, what else are novelisations for?

Also, it is MUCH less hilarious than the TFA novelisation, which makes me think that this is secretly written from the point of view of a saner character than Kylo Ren, but so far, I've been at a loss as to whom.
