Fuel the Fire by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie

emotional hopeful tense medium-paced

5.0

i think this is a five star read.
i keep sniffling this book made me cry (a lot a lot.)
it was incredible.

rose and connor weren't people i really clicked with in the earlier books. it was much easier to fall into the character of lily (who i definitely saw myself in) or the CRAZY FOR RAISY or lilo or even the babies. i didn't expect to love connor and rose, rose and connor as much as i do.
(i had to give each of them a chance to have their name first.)

i don't know where to start.
let me try and articulate rose.

rose is strong. she is so strong, and part of the reason is that she doesn't let others see her "weaker moments." but those moments aren't weak. they're human. and the character growth from her, as we, AS I got to see her soft, huge heart and love for her sisters and fierce loyalty and stubborn personality.
and connor?
love love love. his love language is one i have never understood, and that is wit and charisma. i loved seeing him as a person and not ever never ever changing who he was (not for anyone i was crying for him.)

i don't know what to say can i be like HAHA IM SO GLAD THAT PIECE OF SOCKS GOT WHAT HE DESERVED or cry because everyone in this book deserved more (i love my rose and i love connor) AND I LOVE LILO AND RAISY AND I'M SO SCARED FOR LONG WAY DOWN BUT ALSO PLEASE HELP ME.
yeah! recommend!
i'm toasting to rose and connor<3
