The Reckless Hearts series is one of my all time favorites. These couples are just so perfect for one another. When we first met Parker I couldn’t quite see how he fit. After reading Reckless Encounters I get it now. Parker and Ava are just so wonderful together.

I devoured this book, barely coming up for air-the chemistry between these two is just that good. The book starts with a prologue that was incredibly helpful to give context to the explosive and very reactive relationship between Parker and Ava. These are two incredibly flawed individuals with massive parental baggage. Parker assumes he knows what the upper east side princess is like based on her upbringing. Ava has been working hard to succeed on her own merit without the help of the family name.

Parker has a no repeat rule, but 18 months later at a club event the two collide and it’s explosive. What makes this incident harder is Parker has contracted Ava to design his new luxury hotel. So they’re working together and their friend’s are constantly together. If that’s not enough forced proximity for you a burst pipe leads them to be roommates too.

I loved seeing these two open up to each other. They were the perfect pairing. Ava stepping forward to come to Parker’s aid made my heart so happy. These two have the best found family in their friend group.
