I do not know where to start this review. I am way too engrossed in this word and in wanting to save Kell and Rhy.
I enjoyed this book, this book was centered around a Royal Tournament called Essench Tach or Elemental Games. Many Magicians were selected to compete in this tournament to be held in london and offcourse Lila wants the in too.
I love RHY and Kell's relationship, their bond deepens with how book 1 end ad i loved their banter, their quick retort with each other, they truly are the brothers no matter what anyone else say. Rhy has done something for Kell and in order to make sure they both not suffer Kell complies to Rhy and than the fun begans.
After the events of Book 1 we are following our characters Lila who has finally part of a ship with Alucard Emery as it's captain , i must say a very fun character and man of many faces , Their friendship if you can call it that develops and somehow they end up coming Back to london. Now Kell and Alucard has a past with Rhy in it, and that is so interesting because i was able to guess what was it and to see Rhy character like that i was so excited.
New characters were introduced but that does not mean the focus from old ones got swayed, NO. Victoria Schwab did wonderful job in writing these characters and putting so much energy behind this whole concept. Seeing Rhy take the center of the book along with Kell was fascinating.
This book at the end is on par of Book 1 , which means it is brilliant. The cliffhanger was killing but i am sure it will be worth the wait.
