Rejected
by Jaymin Eve
It actually took me awhile to get into this book. I would start reading, get sucked in by another story and stop, start again, etc. I’m not sure exactly what moment it changed but I’m thoroughly pleased I kept reading.
I love a good rejected shifter story but the introduction of Shadow made things much more interesting. You don’t usually expect the saviour to be a grumbly asshole demon who just kidnapped the rejected female.
The characters and world-building in this book was very well done. The writer gave just enough to grab me and entice me but it wasn’t too much information that I was overwhelmed. I wanted more.
