Doctor Sleep by Stephen King

3.0

I feel like I missed a cornerstone. Like there is a foundational explanation that would make all of this click.
I'm at Chapter 7 of 20
My voicememo to Sarah: I am glad I did The Shining first to get a little bit of framing on this. The alcoholism and suicide contemplation is like real, real. These fears are understandable. I think I liked The Shining better but I understand everyone asking for this. May or may not become more of a Stephen King fan. I think Stephen King is not scary for like the usually mass murder type horrors but everything he writes is something that could legitimately happen and I think the realisticness of this is what makes it terrifying.
