Filthy Rich is a stand alone, contemporary, office romance from the new to me author.
It is the story of Samantha and Aidan, boss and assistant, who obviously felt the attraction but chose not to act on it. Both thinking they are professional and can set aside the chemistry they felt. I loved the slow building of their romance because it shows development of the relationship and its characters. I liked Aidan's character. He is not your usual millionaire/CEO that was always potrayed. Sure, I like some alpha attitude but from time to time, I love these cold, silent, broody kind of guy. In my opinion, they are way hotter. Anyway, Aidan is not your typical kind and I loved him for it. Samantha I can say is someone I can relate in some way. She is calm, controlled and organized woman. I felt like it is her way to cope; to have control in her surroundings since her childhood was not so good.
Together, they do have a similarity in regards their childhood and this is what I think make them click as a couple. Their chemistry and sizzling attraction is just right, with swoon worthy moments and an HEA that will make you sigh with happiness. A perfect summer romance read! Excited to read Dane and Ava's story next.
