Well, I had high hopes and got disappointed. Didn’t like Hook or Wendy. They had moments, sure, but I feel like they never really talked, to each other. Like yeah, small talk sure, but nothing deep down only like around page 270 did Hook’s past come out. And the sexy scenes between them? Didn’t like that either. Aftercare? Not sure if that exist in the world of this book. I’ve read dark romances before, but some scenes in here just disgusted me and I felt like I was watching a bad porn, just instead of watching I read it. No offense though. Pretty sure there are people out there that enjoyed it. Just not for me. And the plot twist weren’t really surprising to me. I kind of knew every traitor before they were even revealed… and the ending, oh boy… I don’t think that Wendy had enough time in the book to actually come to the point to be able to do what she did…
