I liked Fourth Wing more but still devoured this. đ
It is addictive and even tho the pace felt slower than Fourth Wing I enjoyed it immensely! I have NO idea how I managed to finish this in 3 days. This never happened before but I guess I was just that hooked đ¤Ł
The constant conflict between Violet and Xaden as got annoying after a while. Just stop. If they just wouldâve talked the book couldâve been much shorter⌠or focus more on the friend dynamics that I missed here. And I didnât like the whole jealousy thing with Cat on top of their conflict that but itâs still 5 stars for me.
This also felt like this couldâve been two books? Like there wouldâve been a good point right after they left Basgiath to join the revolution? Man, truly SO much happened.
I cried at the end (which⌠also never happens) and I am here for the sibling dynamics. I wish they were explored a bit more.
Aaaand now I am scared to finish this series đđ¤Ł
