Freedom Is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement by Angela Y. Davis

2.0

While I loved and appreciated the overarching themes of this book, all of the speeches therein were super redundant. It felt as though I was reading the same speech over and over again with nearly identical talking points and examples. That said, Davis’s messages are as applicable now as they were 10 years ago when this book was written. my rating is in no way informed by the purpose of the book, I was just hoping for more opportunities to learn about the interconnectedness between Ferguson, Palestine, and other transnational movements.
