Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
1.0
Should have been named Remarkably Boring Creatures.
I could see how some people who like very slow paced/dull characters would enjoy this but it’s not my jam.
Nothing of substance happened until 2/3 of the way through.
I liked Marcellus’ chapters.
I don’t understand how anyone in our current era could be so ignorant about technology. My 90 year old Baba even has an email.
The main character Tova cleans as a way of grieving. That sums up about the first 2/3 of the book.
Cameron is an absolute asshole and never redeems himself.
A few major things go unanswered/aren’t looked into.
One and a half stars for Marcellus, he deserved better.
