Maskerade
by Terry Pratchett
I really do identify with Agnes Nitt in this retelling of Phantom of the Opera. It's a wonder that she only has the one alter ego, really.
Christine makes me want to slap her once a chapter, if only to shut her off. She's a bubble-headed blonde whose greatest achievement will be to live long enough to make sure her daughter turns out just like her.
