A must-read if you want to understand addiction and all of its fucked up, devious ways, and how it can eat away at an otherwise excellent human being. Matthew Perry is incredibly eloquent and self aware throughout this great-wrenching and brutally honest memoir. Having read it after his death, and on audiobook,, his words are especially poignant and devastatingly sad but still inspiring as he always lives in hope that things will go better again one day.
